In recent years she served as educator, mentor and loving supporter to breast cancer patients in the Reach To Recovery program in Pinehurst, and she actively supported the FirstHealth Foundation Cancer Care Fund.
Anne achieved many goals in life and excelled in all that she did. Her greatest accomplishment was the love and joy she brought to David, Shannon, Kenan, her parents and siblings, and her large circle of family and friends.
Her compassionate spirit was a gift from God. That spirit flowed to all who knew her. She was a treasure and a bright ray of sunshine. Her strength during her illness was a great inspiration.
