Stoney W. Brady

Stoney Wayne Brady, 42, of Robbins, died Sunday, June 17, 2012, at his residence.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 20, at Unity Grove Baptist Church, with the Rev. Terry Warren and Pastor Michael Poindexter officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Rest Cemetery. The family received friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, June 19, at Kennedy Funeral Home, and other times at the home of his mother.
He was a native of Moore County and had worked at Lancer’s Furniture Store in Star since 1988. He was a member of Light House Baptist Church, and he loved the Lord. He loved riding four-wheelers and swimming with his family.
He was preceded in death by his father, James (Jimmy) Lawrence Brady. He is survived by his mother, Mary Ann Poe, of Robbins; daughters, Stormy Peyton Brady and Tamiana Jade Brady, both of West End; a son, Stoney Gage Brady, of West End; sister Danica Poe, of Robbins; and grandmother Mary Lou Martin, of Lillington.
