COVINGTON

Kenneth Earl Covington, 48, of Carthage, died Thursday, June 14, 2012, at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital, in Pinehurst.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, June 21, at Sandhills United Church of Christ, in Aberdeen. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, June 20, at Pugh and Smith Funeral Home, in Carthage.
Mr. Covington is survived by his wife, Rosa Covington, of Carthage; seven children, Deshonnda Morris and Kendrick Covington of Fairmont, Tenesha Murchison, of Raeford, Steven Gillespie, Monik Gillespie, Patrick Stubbs, and Edward Allbrooks, of Carthage; four grandchildren; and five brothers, Tommy Covington, Melvin Covington, Troy Coleman, James Luther Neel, and Ardell Covington.
