James Christopher Worthy, infant son of Derek and Megan Beard Worthy, died Tuesday, June 12, 2012, at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital, in Pinehurst.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 17, at Lakeview Cemetery.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Chris Worthy; and maternal grandfather, Jerry Beard.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by a sister, Taylor Lynn Worthy; maternal grandmother and stepgrandfather, Debbie and Todd Round, of Pinehurst; paternal grandmother, Judy Worthy, of Cary; and maternal great-grandmother, Carol Loving, of Cameron.
