Felipe “Phillip” Perez, 72, of Vass, died Tuesday, June 5, 2012, at FirstHealth Hospice and Palliative Care Center, in Pinehurst.
Memorial services will be held at a later date.
Mr. Perez is survived by his wife, Dorothy Perez, of Vass; three sons, Bobby Perez, of Columbus, Ohio, Michael Perez, of Southern Pines, and Danny Perez, of the Bronx, N.Y.; one daughter, Brenda Cummings, of Fuquay-Varina; two sisters, Ada Francheshi, of Long Island, N.Y., and Lucy Garcia, of Columbus, Ohio; 10 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren.
Pugh & Smith Funeral Home in Carthage is assisting the family.
