Lillie M. Frye, 82, of Carthage, died Friday, June 1, 2012, at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital, in Pinehurst.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 10, at Mount Zion A.M.E. Zion Church, in Carthage. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Saturday, June 7, at Pugh and Smith Funeral Home.
Mrs. Frye is survived by her husband, Artemus Fry, of Carthage; two sons, Thomas L. Shaw, of Dorchester, Mass., and Alvin C. Shaw, of Quincy, Mass.; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two sisters, Catherine Evans and Marguerite Martin, of Carthage and; and one brother, Elihue Frye, of Baltimore.
Pugh and Smith Funeral Home, in Carthage, is assisting the family.
