Arthur David Rich, 60, of Pawcatuck, Conn., died Friday, June 1, 2012, at FirstHealth Hospice House, in Pinehurst.
Visitation with the family will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 23, at the Southern Pines United Methodist Church, in Southern Pines. A memorial service will be held at 2:30 p.m. immediately after the visitation.
He was born Sep. 25, 1951, in Paterson, N.J., to the late G. Earl and Maysie C. Rich. Arthur was a graduate of Florida Institute of Technology in Melbourne, Fla. He worked for the electric boat division of General Dynamics in Groton, Conn., for 37 years.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his brother, Robert G. Rich and his wife, Susan, of Whispering Pines; his brother, Donald C. Rich and his wife, Linda, of Tampa, Fla.; nephews David and John Rich; and niece Julia Rich.
