Alexander Jessup “Jesse” Davis, 18, of Rockingham, passed away Friday, June 1, 2012, at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital, in Pinehurst.
A service to celebrate Jesse’s life will be held at 4 pm Wednesday, June 6, in the Colonial Chapel of Carter Funeral Home. Interment will be held privately, at a later date. The family received friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, June 5, at his father’s home.
Jesse was born July 5, 1993, in Richmond County, a son of Robert Bruce Davis and Sharon Creech Davis. He was a talented musician, skateboarder and friend to many. Jesse had played baseball and soccer in the Rockingham City League for several years.
Surviving are his father and stepmother, Bruce and Katina Davis, of the home; mother, Sharon C. Davis, of Middlesex; brothers, Nick Davis, of Hamlet, and Jacob Davis, of Rockingham; grandparents, Paul and Sarah Davis, of West End, and Janet Sizemore, of Middlesex; and stepbrother, Larry Snead, of Rockingham.
