Eldora Elizabeth Roberts, 83, died Saturday, Jan. 28, 2012, at Penick Village.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 31, at the Chapel of Transfiguration, at Penick Village. Burial followed at Pinelawn Memorial Park. The family received friends at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday at Penick Village.
Born Dec. 17, 1928, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Goldie Freid Erickson and wife of the late George H. Roberts.
Ellie was a stewardess for Trans World Airlines, a member of the Silver Foils, a scratch golfer and an avid bridge player.
She is survived by three daughters, Debbie Helms and husband, Raymond, of Morrisville, Leslie Escue and husband, Steve, Stephanie Hill and husband, Brian, of Charlotte; 15 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
