Marian Rowland Krueger

Marian Rowland Krueger died Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2012.
She was the beloved wife of 53 years of James H Krueger; dear mother of Joseph (Heidi), Kathleen (David Meyer) and Maureen (Rick Edelman); and the loving grandmother of Josh, Zach, Audrey, Claire, James, Kyle, Timothy, Abigail.
She was born Aug. 13, 1936, in Springfield, Ohio. She attended St. Teresa grade school and Catholic Central High School, graduating in 1954. She was a lifelong member of the CL of C.
She graduated cum laude from Mount Saint Joseph on-the-Ohio, Cincinnati, in 1958. She was elected to membership in Kappa Gamma Pi Honor
She married James Krueger on Nov. 22, 1958. She taught at Saint Jude School, Cincinnati. In mid 1959 she drove to Fort Leonard, Mo., to join Jim in the Army, eventually living in Rolla for almost two years. She volunteered at the USO while there.
Upon returning to Cincinnati, she taught at St. Margaret Mary, St. Vivian and St. Dominic. In 1988 she bought a Christmas Store in Fort Lauderdale and one in Miami and ran them until selling them in 1996.
A funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Our Lady of Lourdes Church. Friends may call at the church at 9:30 a.m. until time of Mass. Burial will be Tuesday in Calvary Cemetery, Springfield, Ohio.
