David Lee Martindale 37, of Carthage, passed away Monday, Feb. 13, 2012, at his residence.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 18, at Putnam Friends Church, with the Rev. Billy Joe Brady officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 17, at Kennedy Funeral Home, in Robbins.
Mr. Martindale was a native of Moore County. He was a machinist and operated Martindale Machine Shop.
He was preceded in death by his brother, William Nathan Martindale; and sister, Anna Dare Martindale. He is survived by his wife, Michelle Moore Martindale, and son, William Layne Martindale, of the home; parents, Billy J. and Jeanette Hussey Martindale, of Carthage; and sister, Melissa Butler and husband, Shane, of Carthage.
