Inez Ray Eller, 106, of Fayetteville, passed away Thursday, Feb. 9, 2012.
Services were held at 11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 13, at First Presbyterian Church. The family received friends in the church parlor at 10 a.m. Burial followed the service at Lafayette Memorial Park.
She was born Nov. 30, 1905, near Linden, to Laura Lucas Ray and Angus Ray. Mrs. Eller was a retired teacher and a longtime member of First Presbyterian Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Austin R. Eller; son, Don C. Eller; four sisters, Beulah, Beatrice and Louise Ray and Dorothy Ray Hall; and four brothers, Raymond, David, Lector and Angus Ray.
She is survived by a daughter, Barbara Ann; four grandchildren, Donna E. McCann, Don Eller Jr., Christy Oakley and Candace Stooksbury; four great-grandchildren, Katie and Beth McCann, and Austin and Jessica Oakley; and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First Presbyterian Church building fund.
