Emma Castner Wales, 83, of Whispering Pines, died Monday, Feb. 6, 2012, at her home.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday at Eureka Presbyterian Church, with the family receiving friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
A native of Wilkes-Barre, Pa., she was a daughter of the late Frank and Rose Redmond Castner and was a retired retail sales manager. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Wales.
She is survived by: children Ronald Miko, of the home, Becky Dziok, of Sanford, Ester Whitley, of Belmar, N.J., J. Elmer Miko, of Charleston, S.C., Alex Wales, of Missouri, John Wales, of Columbia, Md., and Rosemary Wales, of Hamilton, N.J.; 11 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
