Zdzislawa Szadkowski, 64, of Southern Pines, died Wednesday, Feb. 1, 2012, at her home.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 4, at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, in Southern Pines, with Msgr. Jeffrey Ingham officiating. Burial will follow at Bethesda Cemetery.
Zdzislawa lived in Warsaw, Poland, until coming to America in 1981. She was a biochemist.
She is survived by her husband, Andrew; her daughter, Zuzanna; and her brother, Jerzy Galinski and his wife, Elzbieta.
