Jeannine Prior Johnson, 79, of Pinehurst, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 25, 2011, at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital, in Pinehurst.
All arrangements will be private.
She was born Nov. 11, 1931, to the late Jay and Jessie Prior. She was an avid reader and was very involved with her church before her illness.
She is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Lyman A. Johnson Jr.; one son, Kent P. Johnson and his wife, Alyssa, of Park City, Utah; one daughter, Haley J. Brust and her husband, Daniel, of Austin, Texas; one brother, Lloyd Prior, of Conyero, Ga.; and one granddaughter, Scarlett Brust.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to FHMR Hospice or Wounded Warrior Foundation.
