Doretha Moore Richardson, 88, of Pinehurst, passed away Monday, Oct. 10, 2011, at the Morrison Manor Hospice Home, in Laurinburg.
The family is planning a memorial service for a later date in Michigan.
Mrs. Richardson was born in Cowley County, Kan., daughter of the late Franklin and Maude Moore and the devoted wife of the late John “Jack” Richardson. She lived in Michigan for many years before retiring in Pinehurst with her husband.
She is survived by a sister, Martha Moore Terpstra, of Baldwin, Mich., and her family.
