William Howard Ray, 84, of Taylortown, died Thursday, Oct. 6, 2011.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 12, at Spaulding Chapel A.M.E. Zion Church, in Taylortown.
Visitation will be held from 7 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 11, at Bostic-Kendrick Funeral Home, Southern Pines.
He is survived by his wife, Connie Raye, of the home; daughters, Linda Links, of Pinehurst, and Sondra Ulmer, of Houston; sons, William Raye Jr., of Leesburg, Va., and Donnell Raye, of Roosevelt, N.Y.; brother, Floyd Ray, of Taylortown; sisters, Mary Etta Bland, of Taylortown, Jessie Pitts, of Port Charlotte, Fla., and Mary Lydia Lindsay, of Eagle Springs.
