Octavia "Tavey" Freeman Woodall

Octavia “Tavey” Freeman Woodall, formerly of Aber-deen, died Tuesday, Oct. 4, 2011, at Peak Resources– Pinelake Rehab, in Carthage, after a long illness.
A memorial service will be held in December.
Octavia was born Sept. 28, 1921, to the late Daniel Archie Freeman and Lula Cole Freeman, of Eagle Springs.
She graduated in 1940 from West End High School. She worked for several years at Samarkand Manor. She always enjoyed visiting and helping her relatives, and was a member of Page Memorial Methodist Church, in Aberdeen.
In her leisure time, she enjoyed exploring consignment shops.
She was preceded in death by brothers Silas Freeman, Raymond Freeman and Millard Freeman; and sisters Margaret Talbot, Kay Craven and Betty Smith.
Octavia was a loving and devoted mother to her three sons, Robert G. Woodall Jr., of Kansas City, Kan., George A. Woodall, of Spokane, Wash., and Jimmy G. Woodall, of Cameron. In addition to her sons, she is survived by her grandchildren, Sasha Tibbets, Anna Woodall and Stephen Woodall, all of Spokane, Jerel A. Woodall, of Aberdeen, and Abigail Grace Woodall, of Kansas City; and one great-granddaughter, Alyssa Bre’ann Woodall, of Aberdeen.
