Bobby Jasper Berry, 63, of West End, passed away Friday, Oct. 7, 2011, at Hospice Home of Alamance, Burlington.
A graveside service with military honors will be held at 2 p.m. today (Sunday, Oct. 9, 2011), at Bear Branch Cemetery, Rockingham.
Bobby was born March 16, 1948, in Scotland County, to the late Nancy Jernigan and Roy Lee Berry. He served his country in the U.S. Army and loved to hunt and fish. He was a very loving person and was always willing to help someone in need.
He is survived by daughter, Amy Berry Smith and husband, Eric, of West End; son, Aaron Lee Berry and wife, Stephanie, of West End; brother, Bundy Berry and wife, Wendy; sisters, Vera Risinger and husband, Carroll, of Mullins, S.C., Sylvia Greene, of Hoffman, and Patsy Bowles, of California; four grandchildren, Wyatt, Asa, Sasha and Sarah. He was predeceased by his parents; two brothers, Harold and Roy Berry.
