Timothy Bruce Saunders

Timothy Bruce Saunders, 48, of Robbins, passed away Friday, Sept. 30, 2011, at his home.
Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Monday, Oct. 3, 2011, at the Saunders Family Cemetery in High Falls with the Rev. Gary Melchin officiating.
Mr. Saunders was a Randolph County native and was a sawyer for Brady Sawmill in Coleridge. He attended Wesleyan Methodist Church in Carthage.
Mr. Saunders is survived by wife, Joan Parks Saunders, of the home; sons, Douglas Saunders and wife, Trula, of Bennett, John Saunders, of the home; granddaughter, Gracie Saunders, of Bennett; parents, Clyde and Clara B. Saunders, of Robbins; brothers, Randy Saunders and wife, Jill, of High Falls, Steve Saunders, of High Falls, Billy Saunders, of Robbins; sisters, Sandra Hall, of High Falls, and Becky Medlin and husband, Monty, of Waynesville, N.C.; mother-in-law, Judy Luck and husband, Larry, of Seagrove; special niece and nephew, Ryan Saunders and Rachel Bruce and husband, Beau; and also a large extended family.
Visitation will be held today (Sunday, Oct. 2), from 6 to 8 p.m. at Joyce-Brady Chapel, 3833 Chatham St., Bennett, and other times at his home.
