Clyde Samuel Goins, 78, of West End, died Friday, Sept. 30, 2011, at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital, in Pinehurst.
A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. today (Sunday, Oct. 2), at Purcell Funeral Home, in Southern Pines.
Burial will follow at St. Matthews Chapel church cemetery, in the Eastwood Community.
Visitation will be held from 2 to 6 p.m. today (Sunday, Oct. 2), at Purcell Funeral Home, in Southern Pines.
Mr. Goins is survived by his brothers, Martin Luther Goins, James Goins and Leo Goines; a sister, Betty J. Simpson; and a host of other relatives and friends.
