Gladys Morgan Sanders, 92, of Robbins, passed away Friday, Nov. 18, 2011, at Manor Care, Pinehurst.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, Nov. 21, 2011, at Pleasant View Friends Church, with the Rev. Jacelyn Jones officiating.
Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Sanders was a founding member of Pleasant View Friends Church. She loved to quilt and crochet.
Her parents, David and Bertie Morgan; daughter, Hazel Robinson; and son, J. D. Sanders, preceded her in death.
Mrs. Sanders is survived by son, Leon Nelson Sanders, of Robbins; daughter, Thelma Sanders, of Robbins; sisters, Dora Sheffield, of Eagle Springs, Betty Faye Morgan, of Shelby, Dossie Mae Williams, of Newport News, Va., Mamie Morgan, of Norwood; eight grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today (Sunday, Nov. 20), at Kennedy Funeral Home.
