Carson Lee Barrett, 2, of Ellerbe, died Thursday, Nov. 17, 2011 at UNC Hospitals, in Chapel Hill.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 20, at McLean Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. John Stone officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
The family received friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 19, at Carter Funeral Home, in Ellerbe, and at other times at the Weatherly home, in Pinehurst.
Carson was born June 19, 2009, in Moore County, a son of Charles V. Barrett and Chrystal Weatherly.
He is survived by his parents, Charles V. Barrett, of Monroe, and Chrystal Weatherly, of Ellerbe; brothers, Charles Barrett Jr., Christian Barrett and Cameron Barrett, all of Ellerbe; grandparents, Tim and Linda Barrett, of Apex, and Hamp and Jewell Weatherly, of Pinehurst; and great-grandparents, Wade and Winnie Weatherly, of Hamlet, Betty Barrett, of Mexico, Maine, and Mae Weatherly, of White Lake.
