Ethel Evans Chambers, 87, of Aberdeen, died Tuesday, Nov. 15, 2011.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 19, at the Aberdeen Elementary School gymnasium, in Aberdeen. A walk-through viewing will be held from 1 to 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 18, at Simon Funeral Home, in Southern Pines.
She is survived by her husband, James Chambers; sons, Alfonzo, Rufus, Cartho, Michael and Glenn Chambers; daughters, Carolyn McNair, Mary Harris, Alice Dockery, Prudence McCollum, Wanda Chambers, Warlyene Thompson and Deborah McIntyre; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Service was provided by Simon Funeral Home, of Southern Pines.
