John E. Barron Jr.

John E. Barron Jr., 80, of Robbins, passed away Thursday, Nov. 10, 2011, at his home.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 13, at Pine Rest Cemetery, in Robbins, with the Rev. Bucky Davis officiating.
The family received friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 9, at Kennedy Funeral Home, in Robbins, and at other times at the home.
John was a native of Baltimore County, Md. He served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War. He worked for Baltimore Gas and Electric Company, and after moving to Robbins, he worked at Millikan and Foxfire Golf Club.
His wife, Ruby James Barron, parents, John Sr. and Elizabeth Danmyer Barron, and sister Julia Fishpaw preceded him in death.
He is survived by his daughters, Patty Roberts and husband, Daniel, of Robbins, Sharron Dill and husband, Jim, of Maryland, Connie Long, of Robbins, and Gale Ness, of Robbins; son, Leo Robert Ness Jr. and wife, Bonnie, of Robbins; brothers, William Barron, of White Hall, Md., Harry Barron, of Hamstead, Md., Louie Barron, of Hereford, Md., Robert Barron, of Phoenix, Md., and Herbert Barron, of Hamstead, Md.; sister Mary Troyer, of Robbins; 13 grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren..
