Charlie Eli Glover

Charlie Eli Glover, 66, of Jackson Springs, died Friday, Nov. 11, 2011, at Duke University Hospital in Durham.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Middlecross Baptist Church, with the Rev. David Reynolds and the Rev. Ronnie Glover officiating. Burial will follow in the Jackson Springs Cemetery.
Born on April 20, 1945, in Cumberland County, he was the son of John Eli and Bessie Mills Glover. He was a truck driver with Estes Trucking.
He is survived by his wife, Sherry Ruth Goins Glover, of the home; two sons, Tony, of Carthage, and Jeremy, of Texas; two daughters, Debbie Daniel, of Jackson Springs, and Pebbles Glover, of Durham; three sisters, Zora Ann Jenkins, Margaret Johnson and Mary Frances McPherson, all of Jackson Springs; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. (today) Sunday, Nov. 13, at Briggs-Candor Funeral Home.
