Roy Osbourne Fraser, 73, of Southern Pines, died Saturday, Nov. 5, 2011, at Sound Shore Medical Center, in New Rochelle, N.Y.
A funeral will be held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 13, at First Missionary Baptist Church. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 3 to 6 p.m. Friday, Nov. 11, at Purcell Funeral Home, in Southern Pines.
He is survived by his daughters, Nicole Fraser, of Southern Pines, and Maxine Creary, of Queens, N.Y.; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
