Arlene McKenzie Williams, 88, passed away Wednesday, March 30, 2011, at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital, in Pinehurst.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, April 1, at Powell Funeral Home, in Southern Pines. Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. before the funeral service. Burial will follow at Pinelawn Memorial Park.
She was the daughter of the late John Franklin and Mary Elizabeth Morgan McKenzie. She was retired from the Sprint telephone company.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin E. Williams; sister, Helen Feeney; and four brothers, Herbert, Curtis, Burton and Jack McKenzie. She is survived by her daughter, Janet Tinker and husband, CG, of Washington; son, Douglas M. Williams and wife, Martha, of Pinehurst; grandchildren, McKenzie Herbst, of Carthage, and Bethany Williams, of Chapel Hill; and great-grandchildren, Isiaha and William Williams, both of Carthage.
