SIDUR

Stephen Lawrence Sidur, 73, of Robbins, went to his heavenly home Monday, March 28, 2011.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 30, at Smyrna United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Tal Madison officiating. Burial, with military honors, will follow in the church cemetery. The family received friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, March 29, at Kennedy Funeral Home, in Robbins, and other times at 547 Fentress Road, Robbins.
A native of Cleveland, Ohio, Steve retired after 21 years in the U.S. Air Force. He served during the Vietnam War. He worked for 28 years with the U.S. Postal Service serving Moore County. Steve was a lifelong patriot and a devoted family man.
He is survived by his wife, Ellena Hussey Sidur, of the home; daughters, Susan S. Garner and husband, Dean, of Robbins, Kim Wood, of Randleman, and Bonnie Taylor and husband, Allen, of Goldsboro; sons Chuck Wood, of Hubert, and Bob Wood, of Raleigh; nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
