LAUGHORN

Lillian Warburton Laughorn, 100, of Boone, died Sunday, March 27, 2011, at Blowing Rock Extended Care.
Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 3, at the Hampton Funeral Home chapel, in Boone, with the Rev. Gordon Noble officiating. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Mrs. Laughorn was born May 4, 1910, in Rockingham, a daughter of the late James and Edna Warburton. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by two daughters, Judy Millspaugh Roberts, and Jan Hayes and husband, Frank L., all of Boone; one granddaughter, Erin K. Roberts, of Boone; one grandson, F. Tedder Roberts III, of Boone; one sister, Jean Thorne and husband, Glen, of Marietta, Ohio; and a number of nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Jock Millspaugh; her first husband, Cedric Errol Millspaugh; her second husband, Ernest L. Laughorn; and one sister, Pat Scharf.
