Bernest Howard McKeithen, 78, passed away on Thursday, March 17, 2011, at his home in Vass.
A visitation will be held Tuesday, March 22, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at Pugh & Smith Funeral Home in Carthage. The funeral service will be held Wednesday, March 23, at 10 a.m. at Pugh & Smith.
He is survived by one son, William McKeithen, of Vass; four daughters, Rebecca McKeithen, of Fresno, Calif., Angellette Ferguson, of Vass, Antoniette Belton, of Lithonia, Ga., and Yvonne McKeithen-Franks, of Brocton, Mass.; 12 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one brother, Clarence McKeithen, of Lakeview; one aunt, Mattie Thompson, of Lakeview; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
