Nora Mary Beck Smith, 68, of Eagle Springs, died Wednesday, March 16, 2011, at her residence.
A memorial Mass will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday, March 19, at Our Lady of the Americas, with the Rev. Ricardo Sanchez officiating.
Mrs. Smith was a native of Riverdale, N.Y., and was a retired medical transcriptionist. She was predeceased by her parents, Fernand Beck II and Loretta Flynn Beck.
She is survived by her husband, Wesley P. Smith, of the home; daughters, Deborah S. Musika, of Troy, and Lisa Ann Reckard, of Mint Hill; sons, David W. Smith, of Angel Fire, N.M., and Jason P. Smith, of Eagle Springs; brothers, Fernand Beck III, of New York City, and George Beck, of New Jersey; sister, Karen Anderson, of Curlew, Wash.; and grandchildren, Mars Reckard, Boden Smith, Riley Smith and Cooper Smith.
