June F. Tate

June Fry Tate, 90, of Aberdeen, died Sunday, March 6, 2011, at Peak Resources-Pinelake, in Carthage.
The family will receive friends at 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 9, at Boles Funeral Home, in Southern Pines, and at other times at the home of Scott and Kasi Caddell at 1500 Cranes Creek Road, Cameron. A graveside service will follow at 3 p.m. at Bethesda Presbyterian Church, in Aberdeen.
She was born Sept. 1, 1920, to the late D. Carl Fry and Maida Stutts Fry. She was preceded in death by her husband, Randall Cameron “Rank” Tate; and a sister, Wilma Hardy, of Raleigh.
She is survived by one son, William “Danny” Tate, of Whispering Pines; one granddaughter, Kasi Tate Caddell and husband, Scott, of Cameron; three great-grandchildren, Amy Madison, Garrett B. Cameron and JennaMae Greer Caddell; three “extended” great-grandchildren, Natasha Strohacker Coe, of Vass, Morgan Strohacker, of Cameron, and David Strohacker II and wife, Allison, of Sierra Vista, Ariz.; and several nieces and nephews.
