Christine C. Clark, 90, of Penick Village, passed away Monday, Feb. 28, 2011.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 12, at the Penick Village chapel, in Southern Pines. A graveside service will be held at St. Luke’s Cemetery, in Roper, at a later date.
She was born Jan. 19, 1921, at Forest Grove Farm, in Roper.
She was predeceased by her husbands, Roy H. Robertson, of Bethesda, Md., and Lt. Col. James T. Clark, of Pinehurst; her parents, James A. and Eula S. Chesson, of Roper; and brother, James A. Chesson Jr., of Tampa, Fla.
She is survived by two sisters, Eva C. Taylor and Carole C. Lyle, of Pinehurst; two stepdaughters, Elizabeth Watson and Shirley Wheeler; and several nieces and nephews.
