Margaret Juanita Ross Campbell, 69, of Cameron, died Tuesday, March 1, 2011, at her home.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 3, at Sandhills Assembly, with the Rev. Bryan Rainbow officiating. Burial will follow at New Home Baptist Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, March 2, at Cox Memorial Funeral Home, and at other times at the home.
Born in 1941, Mrs. Campbell was the daughter of the late Samuel Henry and Annie Ring Ross. She retired from Central Electric in the accounting department and was a member of Sandhills Asembly.
She is survived by her husband, Marvin Thomas Campbell; two daughters, Carol Petzoldt and husband, Marty, of Whispering Pines, and Linda Mofield and husband, David, of Carthage; six sisters, Ruth Campbell, Ruby Frye, Elisie Frye and Etta Holder, all of Cameron, and Bonnie Foushee and Nancy McDuffie, both of Sanford; six grandchildren, Richard Bass, Joshua Bass, Caleb Bass, Chelsy Bass, Holly Mofield and Jordan Mofield; and three great-grandchildren, Keyonna Bass, Hailey Bass and Ricky Bass. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Donna Sue Campbell, and one brother, Robert Ross.
