Joe Bob Fisher, 42, of Carthage, passed away Thursday, June 16, 2011, at his residence.
Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday, June 19, at Putnam Friends Church, with the Rev. Larry McEntire and the Rev. Eugene Ussery officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family received friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, June 18, at Kennedy Funeral Home, in Robbins, and other times at the home of Kester and Barbara Ashworth, 249 Hunter Ridge Lane, Carthage.
Mr. Fisher was a 1986 graduate of North Moore High School. He was a valued employee of Seven Lakes Hardware for several years.
He is survived by his best friend, his dog Buddy; daughter, Machelle Fisher, of Carthage; mother, Barbara Hussey Ashworth and husband, Kester, of Carthage; sister, Pam Fisher, of Raleigh; wife, Tammy Fisher, of Star; and granddaughter, Keria Faith.
