Lois Morrison, 77, of Fayetteville, formerly of Vass, died Wednesday, July 27, 2011, at Whispering Pines Nursing Home.
A funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Aug. 1, at Frye’s Chapel Free Will Baptist Church, in Vass. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation was held from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday, July 31, at Purcell Funeral Home, Southern Pines.
She is survived by a daughter, Julia Thompson, and son-in-law, James Thompson, of Fayetteville; three aunts, Margerine McRae, of Raeford, Bertha France, of Winston-Salem, and Gracie Randolph, of Freeport, N.Y; five grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
