George Arthur Liggett, 78, of Vass, died Tuesday, July 12, 2011, at his residence.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 23, at Riverview Memorial Gardens, in Spring Lake. Visitation will be held prior to the service, from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Saturday, at Adcock Funeral Home and Crematory, Spring Lake.
Mr. Liggett was a retired U.S. Army master sergeant and Vietnam veteran.
He is survived by his stepdaughter, Gwen McDaniel and husband, Dan; daughter, Dawn Renee Liggett; niece, Sandra DeKalb; special friend, Rose Reaves; two granddaughters; and two great-grandchildren.
