John H. Freese, 83, of Seven Lakes, died Friday, July 15, 2011, at his home.
A private memorial service will be held by the family at a later date.
Mr. Freese was born Aug. 19, 1927, in Sioux Falls, S.D., to the late Henry and Dora Erickson Freese. He spent most of his career in the life insurance industry, retiring as executive vice president for State Mutual Insurance Company of Worcester, Mass.
Mr. Freese is survived by his wife of 60 years, Barbara Carlson Freese; their four sons, Philip Freese (Debra), Douglas Freese (Susan), Stephen Freese, PhD., (Allison) and Robert Freese, Ph.D.; and two granddaughters.
