Rosemary F. Hines Leigh, of Southern Pines, formerly of Naples, Fla., and Waltham, Mass., passed away peacefully Saturday, July 2, 2011.
She was the loving mother of Pamela Orkney Glennon and her husband, Steven, of Billerica, and Lisa Orkney Smith and her husband, Carl, owners of the Lunch Box That Rocks, in Southern Pines.
She is survived by her loving father, Bob Leyden. She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Johnston. She was the dear sister of Daniel Hines, Michael Hines, William Hines and the late Constance “Connie” Law, Barbara Hines and Martin Hines; and the cherished grandmother of Hunter, Cooper, Kennedy and Hayden. She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews.
She worked at Cracker Barrel and St. Joseph of the Pines. She enjoyed arts and crafts and was an avid bingo player.
