Weldon Junior Davis, 87, of Cameron, died Thursday, July 7, 2011, at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital, in Pinehurst.
The funeral will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, July 10, at Frye’s Chapel FWB Church, in Vass. A viewing was held from 7 to 8 p.m. Saturday, July 9, at Pugh and Smith Funeral Home, in Carthage.
Mr. Davis is survived by his wife, Geneva Davis; one son, Weldon Leon Davis (Pauline); two daughters, Edna Rogers (Clarence) and Jennie Hancock; one foster son, Ike Leach; one foster daughter, Anna King; 11 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and a host of other relatives and
