Steve Dowdy

Steve Dowdy, 58, of the Eastwood community, Pinehurst, died Tuesday, June 28, 2011, at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital, in Pinehurst.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, July 2, at the Simon Funeral Home chapel. There will be no public viewing.
He is survived by his fiancee, Thelma Ross; brother, James Robert Dowdy and wife, Louise; and sisters, Vinie Stroman and husband, Matthew, Maxine McAllister and Jeanette Hooker.
