Richard Charles Liston, 82, died Wednesday, June 29, 2011, at Quail Haven Village, Pinehurst.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday, July 7, 2011, at Community Presbyterian Church in Pinehurst. Family will receive friends following the service.
Dick was born March 26, 1929, in Three Rivers, Mich., to the late Dorothy Geraldine Hewes and Oscar Arnold Liston. He served his country in the Army Air Corp and retired to Pinehurst in 1992, following a career in sales management.
He is survived by his wife of 10 years, Sis; sister, Joyce Rehfeld and brother-in-law, Roger, of Gainesville, Ala.; stepson, Jack Hanna and wife, Diane, of Easten, Md.; stepdaughters Christine White and husband, William, of Towson, Md., and Diane Slotke and husband, Craig, of Roland Park, Md.; three step-grandchildren and two step-great-grandchildren; niece, Gwenn Marchesano; and nephew, Ross Rehfeld.
