Wesley Thomas Nichols, 78, died Wednesday, Feb. 23, 2011, at the Randolph House, in Asheboro.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 25, at Pine Rest Cemetery, with the Rev. Hubert McLeod officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the cemetery.
Mr. Nichols was a U.S. Army veteran and retired from the textile industry. He was preceded in death by his parents, Cledge and Hattie Giles Nichols; son, Earl Wesley Nichols; and brothers Jack Nichols and Junior Nichols.
Mr. Nichols is survived by his daughter, Donna Davis, of Star; brothers Dwight Nichols, of Durham, Roy Nichols, of Robbins, Jewel Nichols, of Asheboro, and James Nichols, of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; sisters, Shirley Beck, of Robbins, and Sylvia Sheffield, of Ramseur; one granddaughter, Tiffany Davis; and one great-granddaughter, Cheyenne Bennett.
