Ann Pearl Branch, 91, of Aberdeen, passed Wednesday, February 23, 2011, at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital, in Pinehurst.
A visitation will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 26, at Boles Funeral Home, in Southern Pines. A memorial service will begin at 6 p.m. Burial will be private, in Bethesda Cemetery, at a later date.
She was born Nov. 14, 1919, in Roanoke, Va., to the late Joseph Jayhue Ransom and Annie Goode Ransom.
Mrs. Branch is survived by her son, Lakie Ray Fogle Sr., of Robbins; a brother, Herbert Otis Ransom, of Roanoke, Va.; eight grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; and four great-great- grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard Branch, in 1982; two daughters, Shirley Ann Hall and Elizabeth Ann Bonomo; 15 brothers and sisters; and one grandchild.
