Mary “Bennie” Marsh died Sunday, Feb. 20, 2011, at Richmond Hospice Haven, in Rockingham.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 24, at the R.C. Bostic Funeral Chapel, Candor, with the Rev. Ronald Baldwin officiating. Interment will be in Zion Grove Cemetery, Eagle Springs. A visitation will be held from 7 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 23, at R.C. Bostic Funeral Services, Candor.
She is survived by her son, Jon’ Courtland Vanspringell, of the home; her parents, Frances Joann and Donald Little, of the home; five sisters, Sherrill Denise Marsh, of Rhinebeck, N.Y., Shelia Christian, of Candor, Venessa Miller, of Eagle Springs, Beverly Miller, of Godwin, and Barbara Miller, of Charleston, S.C.; and three brothers, John Lewis (Annie) Marsh, of Raeford, Theopius Miller, of Fayetteville, and Vernon Miller Jr., of Eagle Springs.
