John Carlo Jr., 83, died Wednesday, Feb. 16, 2011, at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital, in Pinehurst.
A graveside service was held at 12 p.m. Monday, Feb. 21, at Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery, in Spring Lake. The family received friends from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 20, at Boles Funeral Home, in Pinehurst.
He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Rose Carlo; children, Rosemary Zuhone and husband, Charles, of Pinehurst, Kathy Cambreleng and husband, Bill, of Pinehurst, Linda Stefanelli and husband, Rick, of Brick, N.J., and John Carlo II, of Pinehurst; brother, Joseph Carlo and wife, Marie, of Bayville, N.J.; sister, Dolores Galluccio, of Freehold, N.J.; grandchildren, Michael Durange and wife, Mary Ann, Jason Durange and wife, Danielle, Rickey Stefanelli, Anthony Stefanelli, William Cambreleng Jr., Craig Cambreleng and Barbara Sherwood; and great-grandchildren, Casey, Rebecca, Stephen and Nicholas.
