Faye Carpenter, 68, of West End, passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, Feb. 20, 2011, surrounded by family and friends.
A celebration of life will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 26, in the Community Presbyterian Church fellowship hall. All are invited to a catered lunch following the service at the family’s home in Moore County.
She was born in Rockingham to Viola and Lee Carpenter and moved to Moore County in 2007. Faye held many hands and soothed many hearts as a caregiver, both by nature and profession, and her daughter was honored to have returned those blessings to her.
Faye is survived by her best friend and daughter, Jamie Lynn Perkins, as well as her brother, Jay Travis Perkins and his daughter, Olivia McGrady Perkins. She is also survived by her brother, Boyce Lee Carpenter Jr., of Hamlet.
