Richard F. Tambouri Sr., 78, of Southern Pines, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 16, 2011. He was born on January 28, 1933, in Jersey City, N.J.
A mass of Christian burial will be held Monday, Feb. 21, 2011. The mass is scheduled to begin at 2 p.m. at St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church in Southern Pines. The family will receive friends at the church immediately following the mass.
Richard is survived by his children, Grace McCormick, her husband, James, and their children, Brian and Christopher; Clare Hartwick, her husband, David, along with their children, Megan, Ryan and Benjamin; and Ann Mullins, her husband, Michael, as well as their three children, Kathryn, Erin and Andrew.
