Randy Gray Ashburn, 51, of West End, died Thursday, Feb. 17, 2011, at his residence.
Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 19, at Fry and Prickett Funeral Home, with the Rev. William Cashion officiating. Burial followed at Red Branch Baptist Church Cemetery. The family received friends from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday prior to the service at the funeral home.
A native of Moore County, he owned and operated A-1 Trench & Diggin and Randy’s Gutter Service. He was preceded in death by his father, Roby Ashburn.
He is survived by his wife, Debra McKinnon Ashburn; a son, Jonathan Ashburn, of Southern Pines; his mother, Delana Hickman Ashburn; a sister, Debbie Holder, of Aberdeen; a brother, Terry Ashburn, of Kenner, La.; and his beloved beagle, Molly.
